HARDWICK TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD JANUARY 14, 2016
Copies of the minutes of the meeting of November 12, 2015, were distributed to all Board Members prior to the meeting. Mayor Perry made the motion to approve the minutes of November 12, 2015. Motion seconded by Mr. Fee. In a roll call vote, all were in favor, except for Ms. Schemm; and Mr. Lovell and Mr. Carrazzone, who were not present at the November meeting.
OTHER BUSINESS: Budget Discussion
The Board discussed the amount spent in 2015 and the line items and the recommended Budget for 2016. It was agreed to recommend the same amount as last year. Chairman Ribitzki made the motion to recommend an $8,000.00 budget, the same as last year. Motion seconded by Mr. Fee. In a roll call vote, all were in favor. Affordable Housing Update The Board discussed the status of the Affordable Housing obligation for the Township. Property Maintenance Ordinance Mayor Perry addressed abandoned and foreclosed properties and the property maintenance ordinance that the Township is considering. Contracts Chairman Ribitzki reviewed the contracts received from the Board Professionals. Mr. McKim authorized the Chairman to sign the contracts. Motion seconded by Mr. Fee. In a roll call vote, all were in favor, except for Ms. Gold, who abstained. Meeting Time Mayor Perry asked if the Board wished to consider moving up the meeting time. After a brief discussion it was agreed to leave the meeting time at 7:30 p.m.
BILLS: The following vouchers were submitted for payment: Dolan & Dolan-General 161.00 Dolan & Dolan-General 120.75 Dolan & Dolan-Ridge & Valley 362.25 Rodman-General- November October 217.00
Mayor Perry made the motion to pay the bills. Motion seconded by Mr. McKim. Discussion on the motion: The Board discussed the Ridge and Valley voucher and it was agreed that the voucher should be paid out of the "Open Space Fund". In a roll call vote, all were in favor, except for Mr. Carrazzone, who abstained.
OTHER: Ordinance Review
Board Secretary Schemm stated that she thinks that the only outstanding ordinance review item is the Checklist modifications. She stated that she would prefer that the general checklist information be incorporated into each individual
